Prom 2012

What a weekend I just had!!! Saturday was completely insane, but I loved every minute of it! I started off with doing hair and makeup for six beautiful ladies who were going to their senior prom. I must say that I LOVE prom season because I get to have alittle more "fun" with hair and makeup than with brides. I love doing bridal looks, but it's fun to get outside the box sometimes too! I had such a blast with these girls! Right after that, I helped out Stella Salon with Sally Ann's Spring Fashion Show. Let's just say, I pulled a 12 hour day... and it was completely rewarding!

I wanted to include some before and afters on the blog and give you a little peak of what went on Saturday. I hope you enjoy!

Alex + Curt

What a gorgeous bride Alex was. Her dress was probably one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. It was amazing. Her photographer, Jessica, from Jessica V Photography captured every special moment and detail of this beautiful wedding. Jessica is not a wedding photographer, but Alex twisted her arm enough and she finally gave in! And she did such an amazing job!!! Check out Jessica's website if you are looking for a newborn, child, or family photographer. She has the most creative ideas! And she is such a sweetie to work with. She will go above and beyond for you. When it came to hair and makeup, Alex knew exactly what she wanted. We did a soft smokey eye with hints of browns for her eyes. Her cheek bones were so amazing. Can every bride please have cheek bones like hers??? We did a cascading side ponytail which took her hair off her neck but allowed hair to free flow to see her curls. I loved it. Her veil was a family heirloom which tied in perfectly with her gown. She added a vintage style tiara to go with the veil. PERFECTION.
