Pastel Lookbook Sneak Peak

Exciting things are happening at Pastel makeup | hair! My newest adventure that I am on is creating the first ever Pastel makeup | hair Lookbook! I am beyond excited! And this couldn't happen without the help of some of the most talented people I know! Laura for Laura Fulmer Photography is the mastermind behind the lens creating the most beautiful shots I could have imagined! Meaghan Pafford also came out and took some wonderful shots as well!  We shot the first model last weekend and it turned out so good! I literally started tearing up :) Jessica, with Fine and Fleurie lent us some of her beautiful bridal accessories. You have to check her out! She creates the most beautiful hair accessories, sashes for wedding gowns, earrings, everything! Gorgeous pieces for your most special day! I even threw in some of my own pieces I wore on my wedding day from Christina Nicole Studios in Raleigh. She custom made my jewelry, garter and my bridesmaids pieces as well. Another amazing artist! OH! And I cannot forget to mention that we were not even planning on shooting in my home, but we shot almost everything two steps away from my makeup table! How convenient!  The chalkboard wall is actually in my makeup studio and Meaghan drew these images while I was in the process of doing makeup and hair! Yesterday, Nicole (who is my fabulous model, also the photographer at Free People Photography) shot part of her maternity shoot with the wall as well! I will show you some images of that later! So thankful for these ladies who I just love and adore. It is so fun to have people in the industry who you just want to be around AND do work with! Brittany + John Tyler

So I was completely honored when my fave hairstylist, Brittany Black of Bliss Salon + Spa, asked me to do her makeup for her upcoming shoot with her hubs. I started going to Brittany about a year ago... I think. I absolutely love her!! She is just a peach! And to be honest, I have never found anyone who can curl my hair like she can! The first time you sit in her chair, you feel like you have known her forever. When other people in the beauty industry ask me to their hair or makeup, it makes my day!!
